Eight teams confirmed - Cape 31 Winter Series Launching in Palma

Palma de Mallorca, Spain — The Cape 31 Class is excited to announce the Cape 31 Winter Series, based out of Club Nautic Arenal in Palma de Mallorca. Following the European Championship in October 2025, a growing fleet of Cape 31s will remain in Palma for the winter season, taking advantage of the island’s excellent racing conditions and warm sailing community.
So far, eight teams are confirmed so far for the series:

La Pericolosa
Khumbu
Akhelios
Warrior Won
Halbtrocken
Black Battalion
Adrenaline
The Winter Series will feature three race weekends:
5–7 December 2025
16–18 January 2026
27 February – 1 March 2026
The program will conclude with a Cape 31 appearance at the prestigious Princess Sofia Regatta on 20–22 March 2026.
"Palma is the perfect base for the Cape 31 Winter Series — great racing conditions, excellent facilities at CNA, and a competitive international fleet," said Tor Tomlinson Cheney, Cape 31 Class Manager. "It’s fantastic to see so many teams committed to staying on after the Europeans, and we’re looking forward to three weekends of exciting, close racing this winter."

With a strong mix of international entries and proven race-winning crews, the Cape 31 Winter Series promises to deliver high-level competition and plenty of excitement as the class continues to grow across Europe. Racing will be hosted from Arenal, offering world-class sailing waters and facilities for both teams and supporters.
